CSRN has submitted a Strategic Network Enhancement Initiative (SNEI) proposal to NSERC. The Board and the Management of CSRN hope that this application will be successful, in which case the award will start on March 1, 2011.

 

January 14, 2011

 

CSRN is presenting a workshop on the software "Opensees" on the modeling of steel structures for seismic applications. This workshop will take place at Concordia University on January 19, 2011. The workshop will be presented by Prof. R. Tremblay, Prof. D. Lignos, and Mr. L. Chen.

January 11th, 2010

On March 28, 2010, a meeting of researchers involved in Projects 2.3 (Concrete Buildings) and 2.6 (Bridges) will take place in Vancouver to discuss progress.

 

On March 29, 2010, the project leaders will be meeting in Vancouver to summarise progress since the last Annual Meeting in Montreal.

 

The Scientific Management Commmittee will have a conference call on Tuesday March 30, 2010 at 12:15 pm.

Congatulations to Kate Ploeger who is the recipient of the HAZUS user of the year award from FEMA.
